Chapter 2 - Friends in high places.

   July 23, 2003, 6:15 AM deep within the jungles of western Russia.  A lone figure glides through the trees holding his chute tightly but as he past a tree, it's branches snag his backpack he looked back to see it stuck on the branch, he then detach his chute and lands in a clearing near a high cliff missed the edge by just a mere inch he stood up to look at the view, he takes most of the parachute attachment from himself and finally takes of his mask dropping it to the side showing his face, a young looking silvered furred fox with a green bandanna swaying behind his head. He looks around before steps behind a tree crouching down touching a small device in his right ear as it beeps "Commander, do you copy? Silfer Kennedy here."  "I copy you, and Silf. Your in enemy territory; you must not say your name to anyone got it silfer?" he replied "Yeah, ok.. sorry.. so what's my codename for this mission then?" "Fox.. Silver Fox" "Funny..." he smirks "Heh, I guess you like; Fox" the fox smirks again "So, missions objectives again?" "Yeah, north of your position is the facility where they kept her, but your presence is violation of international law, with additional to the terrorist in that area, their will be KGBs.. so don't let either of them see you." "Gotcha, stealth is my speciality anyway." "Don't get cocky..." he sighs "What are this thing in my ear anyway? I know its somesort radio.." "Yeah.. it's the 'Codec' top of the line communication devices it attach to your inner ear so you and only you can hear the call." "Nice.. even the beeping?" "Yup, even the beeping" they snicker abit and the commander coughs "We only issue you a Mk22 tranq gun, we can't have you killing any Russians or it will spark a war between us." he explained "You can find it in your backpack." "Yeah... about the backpack. It got snag by a tree on the way down." he rubs his head in embarrassment. "I see.. well Fox you better get your backpack then, you know where it is?" "Yeah, its stuck on a branch I can see it from here." "Got it, get your backpack Fox."

   At that the transmission ends as he stood up looking around before slowly walks towards the tree. Seeing the ivy covered side he smiles only grabbing ahold of the ivy and climbs the tree like its a ladder, he then slowly clings on the branch and slowly moves towards the pack as soon he grab ahold of it he drops down and lands on his feet. His codec beeps once more meaning a incoming call he then drops to his knees below the bushes he pressed onto the codec to listen more easily "This is Si.. Fox. Can you hear me?" "Yes Fox, we hear you. Before we start let me introduce to the crew." "Crew?" "Yes, she's an expert into the weapons tech" "She?" "Yes, I'm a she" a female voice called over "Allow me commander she said, I am Autumn you can call me Au" she smiles "Nice to meet you too." "Hey!" a male voice shouted, a young child it sounds as "Hey!, don't push" Au shouted back at the young male "Hey, hey!, My turn to introduce myself" he shouted the fox sweatdrops and the commander sighs "This... is your mission log" "Mission log?" "yeah, he will report in on your mission progress" the young male then took over the transmission "Yeah, the name is Roro nice to meet ya Fox" "Roro!" the female red panda huff "Sorry about him.. " she sighs with a big sweatdrop "Hey, it's alright." "One more person.." the commander added "Hmm?" and a female voice then interrupted "Long time no see.. Silfer" "Master?" his eyes wide open "Master is that you?" "Yes it's me Silfer Kennedy.. or so I call you Fox?" "Heh.. its been awhile Master." "Yeah, 5 years right?" "yeah." he sighs in relief hearing from his mentor once again. "Fox?" the commander added "The mission" "Oh yeah right sorry commander" the fox gives a nervous laugh "Silf, do you still remember my lessons?" "Yes master, how can I?" "This is the jungle, in your backpack we insue you with tons of camouflage uniform and facepaint, use them well."  "yes maam" "Silf, remember the basic of CQC." "Yes master I know," he smiles standing up "Your missions objective is to escort Dr. Anna out of the border" "Got it"

  He smiles standing up as he then equip the tranq gun after retriving it from his pack and getting the knife out of it's sheathe griping both the gun and the knife together looking at the sky before thinking that he is glad to have friends in high places. He continue on slowly walking with gun ready and pointing "Mission.. commence" he said as he continue onwards.
